SudhirDharmendar Sesungkur is a partner of Mazars SCRL. Before setting up Mazarsin Mauritius, Sudhir worked in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services department of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) for nearly 12 years. He is a qualified accountant and licensed auditor by the Financial Reporting Council; and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom, the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Sudhir has over 25 years experience as an auditor and business advisor in Mauritius and other regional African Countries.
At PwC, he headed up a portfolio of diverse local and international clients, which included banks and financial institutions, regulatory bodies such as the Stock Exchange Commission (SEC), investment holding companies, SEC registered Funds and companies in the telecommunications, manufacturing, trading, construction, civil engineering and service sectors.
On an international level, Sudhir has participated in a number of assignments for multinational groups, companies and projects funded by international institutions such as the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, United States Agency for International Development (USAID), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and Global Fund in the Indian Ocean and Africa.
