Assistant in Consulting & Advisory

Mazars in Mauritius is actively recruiting an Assistant to join our Consulting & Advisory Service Line. We are seeking for individuals having freshly graduated or having less than 1 year of experience earned either in External Audit department or Deals/Transactions department, excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to management. The individual will be actively involved in:

• Valuation and Due Diligence engagements;
• Audit support for valuation, financial instruments and IFRS issues;
• Sustainable Finance;
• Market intelligence research; and
• Any other advisory role which may be assigned

Qualifications and Experience

• University degree (Finance or Economics) ;
• Embarking on another qualification (e.g. ACCA/CFA) will be a plus
• Initial understanding of valuation and corporate finance matters;
• Possess positive “can do” attitude to challenges and agility to multitask effectively across competing priorities;
• Promotes the firm’s values and beliefs, demonstrating integrity and maintaining an ethical stance, using flexibility and tact to express views as necessary.
